How Much Does a CRM Cost in Moldova in 2026: What Determines the Price
In Brief
The cost of a CRM goes beyond the subscription fee. It includes seven main expense categories:
- Subscription or licensing.
- Implementation and setup.
- Integrations with your website, phone system, messaging apps, and 1C.
- Data migration.
- Employee training.
- Hosting and technical support.
- Additional development as your business grows.
CRM subscription costs in 2026:
- Bitrix24 — from €0 (for up to 2 users) to €199 per month for a company with up to 100 users when billed annually;
- Kommo — from $25 to $45 per user per month, with a minimum subscription period of 6 months.
Integrating an existing CRM with a website starts at €200 with us. A custom-built CRM doesn't have a standard price: the cost depends on the number of user roles, modules, and integrations. However, you pay for development once, plus €50–250 per year for hosting, with no monthly fees for each user.
7 CRM Cost Categories
1. Subscription or Licensing
This is the most visible part of your CRM budget, but it isn't always the largest. Ready-made CRM platforms generally use two pricing models:
- Per company — the model used by Bitrix24. On bitrix24.eu, annual billing gives you the following monthly prices: Basic — €49 (5 users), Standard — €99 (50 users), and Professional — €199 (100 users). Monthly billing costs more: €69, €144, and €289, respectively.
- Per user — the model used by Kommo: Base — $25, Advanced — $35, and Pro — $45 per user per month.
A custom CRM has no subscription fee: your company owns the source code.
2. Implementation and Setup
An off-the-shelf CRM needs to be adapted to your business processes. This includes sales pipelines, deal stages, customer profile fields, access permissions, email templates, and automated tasks.
A small team with a standard sales pipeline can often handle the setup themselves in just a few days. If your business has more complex processes, you'll usually need an implementation specialist, which adds another expense.
With a custom CRM, this stage is part of the development process. The system is designed around your company's workflows from the beginning.
3. Integrations
A CRM becomes truly useful when information flows into it automatically instead of being entered manually. Common integrations include:
- website forms and live chat;
- phone systems (call recording and tracking);
- WhatsApp, Telegram, Instagram, and Facebook;
- 1C (customers, invoices, and inventory);
- online card payments.
Each integration requires separate development work. Connecting an existing CRM to a website starts at €200 with us. For more details, read our article about integrating websites with maib, Victoriabank, 1C, and Kommo.
4. Data Migration
Customer records, deals, and communication history are often stored in Excel spreadsheets, email accounts, or older systems. This data needs to be exported, cleaned up to remove duplicates, and imported into the new CRM. The larger and messier your data is, the more expensive this stage becomes. Both Bitrix24 and Kommo provide APIs, making it possible to export your data if you decide to switch to another system later.
5. Employee Training
A CRM that nobody uses is money wasted. Sales managers need time to get used to managing deals in the system instead of keeping notes in notebooks or messaging apps.
The simpler the interface and the fewer unnecessary features it contains, the faster employees can learn to use it. That's one reason why overly complicated CRM systems often take longer to implement.
6. Hosting and Technical Support
Cloud-based CRMs include hosting in their subscription fees. A custom CRM runs on a server used by your company, with hosting costs ranging from €50 to €250 per year, depending on the workload. You should also budget separately for technical support and data backups.
7. Additional Development as Your Business Grows
Businesses change. New departments, services, and user roles appear over time. With an off-the-shelf CRM, this often means upgrading to a more expensive plan just to access one feature or purchasing an additional app from the marketplace. With a custom CRM, a developer can build the functionality you need. Either way, it's worth setting aside a budget for future improvements.
What Determines the Cost of a Custom CRM?
A custom CRM doesn't come as a fixed-price package. Each project is estimated individually, with six main factors having the greatest impact on cost:
- Number of user roles. How many types of users will work in the system? These might include sales managers, supervisors, accountants, and external users such as customers, drivers, or partners.
- Modules. Do you only need customer and deal management, or do you also need inventory, bookings, financial management, and documents?
- Integrations. Website, payments, 1C, phone systems, messaging apps, and courier services.
- Mobile application. Do employees working in the field, such as drivers, couriers, or technicians, need a mobile app?
- Reports and analytics. Are standard sales reports enough, or does management need advanced custom dashboards?
- Data migration. The volume and condition of data stored in your old system or Excel files.
Real project example: In 2025, we developed a construction equipment rental service for Electro Proiect Services. The system includes 3 user roles (customers, drivers, and administrators), an availability calendar for every piece of equipment and each driver, automatic price calculations, card payments, and 4 integrations. Development took 4 months.
Hidden Costs of Off-the-Shelf CRM Systems
- Team growth. With per-user pricing, every new employee increases your bill. A team of 10 people pays $350 per month for Kommo Advanced, while a team of 30 pays $1,050.
- Minimum subscription period. Kommo requires a minimum commitment of 6 months.
- Monthly billing costs more than annual billing. With Bitrix24, the difference can reach 45%. The Standard plan costs €99 per month when billed annually, compared to €144 with monthly billing.
- Paid apps. Some features require additional purchases from the marketplace.
- Upgrading for a single feature. For example, certain automation or analytics features may only be available on more expensive plans.
- Currency fluctuations. Subscriptions are billed in euros or US dollars, so the cost in Moldovan lei changes with exchange rates.
How to Get an Accurate CRM Cost Estimate
To receive a realistic estimate rather than a broad price range, prepare answers to a few questions:
- How does your current workflow operate, from the initial inquiry to payment and order fulfillment?
- How many employees will use the system, and what roles will they have?
- Will external users, such as customers, partners, or drivers, need access?
- Which systems should the CRM connect to: website, 1C, payments, phone systems, or messaging apps?
- Where is your data currently stored, and how much of it is there?
- Is there a specific deadline by which the system needs to be operational?
With these answers, you can compare the actual cost of implementing an off-the-shelf CRM with the cost of developing a custom system. We've covered how to choose between these options in our article, "Custom CRM or Bitrix24/Kommo: Which Is Better for Businesses in Moldova?"
How We Estimate CRM Development Costs at ilab.md
We don't start with the price. First, we look at how your business works and identify the user roles, modules, and integrations you actually need. If a standard sales pipeline is enough, we'll tell you and recommend connecting Bitrix24 or Kommo to your website. That's more affordable than building a system from scratch. If your business processes don't fit into an existing CRM, we'll estimate the cost of a custom solution tailored to your needs. We develop CRM systems using PHP/CodeIgniter and MySQL, and build mobile apps for employees with React Native. All our development work comes with a 2-year warranty. You can request a project estimate on our CRM and Internal Business Systems Development page.

An off-the-shelf CRM can cost anywhere from €0 (Bitrix24 Free, for up to 2 users) to €199 per month for a company with up to 100 users (Bitrix24 Professional, billed annually). Kommo costs $25–$45 per user per month. With a custom CRM, there are no monthly per-user fees, only hosting costs of €50–€250 per year.
There's no standard price. Development costs depend on the number of user roles, modules, and integrations, whether you need a mobile app, and how much data needs to be migrated. The final cost is calculated after reviewing your business processes.
Our CRM integrations start at €200. Inquiries from contact forms, chat, and phone calls are automatically sent to your CRM.
You should also account for implementation and setup, integrations, data migration, employee training, ongoing technical support, and additional development as your business grows.
With per-user pricing, your subscription costs increase every time you add a new employee. Some features are only available on higher-tier plans or through paid add-ons, and monthly billing is more expensive than annual billing.
