When Extratel approached us to develop a new website, they already had a functioning platform. However, over time, their needs evolved, and new technical requirements emerged, making it clear that a fully updated solution was necessary — especially considering the specifics of working with B2B clients.
We built a platform that allows assigning different price categories to buyers and controlling how prices are displayed based on the user type, their purchase volumes, and their geographic location. We also added support for three currencies, with an easy switch on the website, so that transactions with clients could be carried out in the appropriate currency without confusion.
The project includes two types of product synchronization: a full nightly update of the entire catalog, and instant updates of prices and stock levels throughout the day to keep the data accurate at all times. A major part of our work focused on reducing the effort required to maintain the site — including the development of algorithms that automatically generate sections for new arrivals and promotions, ensuring clients always stay informed about the latest updates.
To improve the experience for both users and company staff, we optimized numerous internal processes, many of which remain “behind the scenes.” As a result, Extratel received a platform fully aligned with their needs and a powerful tool that supports the company’s daily operations.
